Synergies between our R&D departments result in products and systems that offer added clinical benefits and meet the requirements of patients, surgeons and the healthcare system even more effectively. 20 engineers of SOPRO-COMEG, back up with 30 more within Acteon Group, work to foster on products innovations and new technologies to remain at the cutting edge of endoscopy or even a step ahead. Innovation is the key to improve health.

Our key know-how is Medical imaging with a combination of young & experimented engineers focused on:
Electronics, including Digital Signal Processing, CAD, Software - high level (PC software) to embedded (boards firmware)-, sensors, vision (visible or XRAY) or measure, complete know how of electronic board design from schematic to PCB with firmware development. We are also able to use micro-bonding solution and we are recognised as one of most valuable designer company by Sony Semiconductor.
Optics, including lenses, objectives and illumination systems; (endoscope)
Mechanics, including Fluid management, injected plastic, micro –mechanics, design and ergonomic

Also, we, in SOPRO-COMEG have access to the very wide R&D department and connections of our mother company, Acteon, adding to the previous know how : ultrasounds, chemical, motors, light system, led system, X-Ray generator
